Error Control
This applet simulation illustrates one of the main ways that error control is done in the TCP/IP protocol stack. At the transport layer the TCP protocol does error control using one version of the Automatic Repeat Request (ARQ) family of protocols. TCP error control is based on the Selective Repeat version of ARQ. Press the Help button for a description of how to use the applet. The links below provide further information.
